If there was one defining program for the „Generation X“, it definitely was MTV.

The iconic station turned impressive 40 on Sunday. Let’s cheer it with the very first hours summarised in one two hour movie:

Ironically preserved via one of its concrete coffin nails, an Internet video website called YouTube, launched in 2005.

If I would be a billionaire, I would snap it back from the media behemoth Viacom, and bring back its legendary concept from 90s; without constant ad and stupid reality shows, and other unwanted formats shown there since the early 2000s which we never needed. Society would be much more advanced if they didn’t fuck up so fast.

So it’s a Happy Birthday MTV! as well as R.I.P.! at the same time here from me! What a pity.
